I was chatting with a friend one day, and he mentioned that owls were cool and all, but he wanted a woot owl. You know. One that went "woot" instead of "hoot."

I loved the idea so much that right then and there I said, "I will make that for you."

About a month and a half later, I did. I created the design and pattern myself, and used scraps from around the house for the cloth. It's velvety and cuddly. The only things I had to buy were the button eyes and the stuffing, so it was pretty cheap to make.

I also managed to complete it in one day. That made me proud. I have a history of being incapable of completing sewing projects.

This looks HUGE. And then I realize it's seated on a sill, and not on the ground next to a counter-top.

It was about six inches tall. Reasonably sized plushie.
